Extension Sets are the core of the Stage One system and our unique ultra-light carbon fiber construction creates a strong versatile slider like no other on the market. Each set includes two threaded detachable rails using precisely machined tubes and inserts to ensure excellent seamless alignment, and at least one mid-span support.

Extension sets require a Stage One Hardware Set which includes the cart and end brackets to be fully functional. Each extension set adds a specified total length to your slider.

Extension Sets are the core of the Stage One system. Each set includes two threaded detachable rails using precisely machined tubes and inserts to ensure excellent seamless alignment, and at least one mid-span support. Extension sets require a Stage One Hardware Set which includes the cart and end brackets to be fully functional.  Carbon fiber and aluminum extension sets should not be mixed in the same rig.
Each extension set adds a specified total length to your slider.  The mid-span support keeps your cart on the rails and provides an attachment point for standard supports, including tripods with 1/4-20, 3/8-16, or light stand heads.

Extension sets are available in the following configurations:

20" Carbon Fiber
40" Carbon Fiber
60" Carbon Fiber

For smoothest runs, the lightest weight rigs, or the lowest cost lengths, longer extension sets are provided.  For maximum portability, choose shorter extension sets which pack down smaller.
